Category ranking (top charts)

An app's position in a store category's top list, such as top free in Finance. It is driven by recent install velocity and retention rather than by listing text, so it moves slower than keyword ranks and reacts to campaigns and seasonality. Reading it daily shows which competitors are gaining and which apps are new to the category.
